Chwilę przed godziną 22 doszło do poważnego potrącenia rowerzysty w rejonie skrzyżowania alei Słowackiego z ulicą Bracką w Ostrowie Wielkopolskim.
Rowerzysta w ciężkim stanie trafił do szpitala.
Ze wstępnych ustaleń wynika, że samochód Peugeot Partner był prowadzony przez około 50-letniego mężczyznę, który jechał aleją Słowackiego od strony Kalisza. W rejonie skrzyżowania z ulicą Bracką z jego lewej strony najechał rowerzysta, który miał jechać na czerwonym świetle.
Siła uderzenia była bardzo duża. Rozbita została przednia szyba, wgnieciona maska oraz spadł but. Młody mężczyzna po zdarzeniu był nieprzytomny.
