Około godziny 1.30 doszło do zdarzenia drogowego na wiadukcie odolanowskim, w rejonie skrzyżowania ulic Kopernika z Odolanowską w Ostrowie Wielkopolskim.
Najprawdopodobniej kierowca BMW nie dostosował prędkości podczas wjazdu na wiadukt i na łuku drogi wyniosło go na zewnętrzny pas. Tam uderzył bokiem w krawężnik.
Kiedy na zdarzenie najechał patrol prewencji, dwóch mężczyzn sugerowało, że jechał z nimi jeszcze ktoś trzeci, ale się oddalił.
Po chwili okazało się, że to najprawdopodobniej jeden z obecnych mężczyzn kierował samochodem i czekali na przyjazd pomocy drogowej. Funkcjonariusze stwierdzili, że obaj są trzeźwi, ale domniemany kierowca nie ma uprawnień do kierowania samochodem.
Podjęto decyzję o zabezpieczeniu samochodu na tzw. policyjny parking. Trwa wyjaśnianie kto faktycznie kierował.
