W czwartek o godzinie 19 mężczyzna wykonujący przewóz osób zamierzał wykonać „ostatni kurs” tego dnia i rozpocząć weekend. Los miał jednak inne plany.
Kierowca Citroena oznaczonego jako Taxi Bolt jechał ulicą Spichrzową w Ostrowie Wielkopolskim. Jako kolejna osoba w tym miejscu nie dostrzegła znaku informującego o łamanym pierwszeństwie. Niestety dla niego ulicą Wodną jechał Volkswagen. Wtedy na środku skrzyżowania doszło do zderzenia obu aut.
W kolizji poza pojazdami nikt nie ucierpiał. Musiały one odjechać na lawecie.
